Scope
This notice covers the heari.ai website (in English, Chinese, Japanese and Korean). It explains how we handle your personal information when you browse the site, book a demo or apply for free access.
When you run research with the heari product, data is handled under the service agreement between you and us. Participants see a separate notice before an interview.
What we collect
- What you enter in the form: name, company, work email, job title, industry, company size, and the question you want to research. On the Chinese site you also enter a mobile number and verify it with a text message code.
- Recorded automatically when you submit: the time, the page you submitted from, your IP address and your browser type.
- How you use the site: which pages you visit, how long you stay, how far you scroll, which buttons and links you click, the site and campaign link parameters that brought you here, and your browser type, operating system, screen size and IP address (used to estimate your general location).
- To connect visits from the same browser, we keep a randomly generated visitor ID in your browser's local storage. It contains no name or contact details, and clearing the site's data in your browser resets it. If you request a demo, this ID is linked to your request, but your contact details never enter our site analytics.
- The site uses no advertising cookies and shares no data with advertising platforms. A form draft is kept only in your browser's current session, is cleared when you close the page, and is never sent to us.
How we use it
- To contact you, schedule a demo or set up free access, and answer your questions.
- To send you one email confirming that we've received your details.
- To understand customer needs and improve heari's products and services.
- To measure visits and demo requests and improve the site.
- To prevent abuse, for example by using IP addresses to limit repeated submissions in a short time.
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use form submissions to train AI models.
Who can see it
Only the heari team and the ThinkingAI colleagues who follow up with you can see it. To host the website and send emails and internal notifications, we use the following providers, who process data only on our instructions:
- Tencent Cloud: hosts the website and stores form data.
- Alibaba Cloud DirectMail: sends confirmation emails and internal notification emails.
- Feishu (Lark): notifies the team that follows up on new requests.
- ThinkingAI SMS service: sends verification codes on the Chinese site.
- ThinkingAI analytics platform: measures how the site is used.
Our team works across several countries and regions, so colleagues following up on your request may access this information from outside your country. We don't share your personal information with any other third party unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep demo requests and applications for 24 months after our last contact with you, then delete or anonymize them. You can ask us to delete them sooner at any time.
We keep site usage data for 24 months.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or ask us to stop contacting you. Email hello@heari.ai and we will reply within 15 business days.
How we protect it
The whole site is served over encrypted HTTPS. Only authorized colleagues can access form data, and the admin interface is not reachable from the public internet.
Minors
This website is intended for business users. If you are under 18, please don't submit personal information through it.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice. When we do, we'll revise this page and its "last updated" date.
